Research Interests
My research focuses on the design and synthesis of ligand supported transition-metal complexes, with particular interest in metal hydride and borohydride chemistry. Using hemiparetic koneramine ligand frameworks, I study how reactive hydride intermediates can be stabilized and employed for the activation of environmentally harmful small molecules such as CO2, CS2, and SO2. This work aims to uncover fundamental structure-reactivity relationships that are relevant to sustainable catalysis and small-molecule activation.
